1. Start with friends and family. Have them invite 15 to 20 friends to their home for a party. The hostess provides the coffee and cake or other refreshments.

2. Arrange your assortment around the house in an appealing fashion. We generally recommend that you have a minimum of 24 handbags and some matching wallets at the party. The merchandise we provide generally comes pre-ticketed with tags and Suggested Retail Prices. The suggested retail is usually 3+ times your wholesale cost, so the profit potential is excellent.

4. Assist the party participants in knowing more about the bags, and ask the hostess to help you.

5. Provide the hostess with 10-15% of the sales made at the party. This percentage should be from the sales of merchandise at the RETAIL price. For example, if you sell $500.00 at the party, the hostess will earn $50-75 in value, which will cost you only about $17-25. Your profit on a party like this should be about $300.00!

6. Book your next party at the event! This is the best way to network! Offer a free wallet to the participants if they book a party that night (they get the wallet at their party) in addition to their regular 10-15% in retail merchandise.

7. Talk to your local religious or charitable groups in the area. They often have events at which you can sell handbags and give a percentage to the organization.
